As time rolled on, Mr. X and his Z were able to spend less and less time together. Not wanting to live in the past, Mr. X decided to revitalize his old buddy for some "good new days."
Mr. Z has been undergoing a point-by-point restoration that will recondition him beyond his former glorious state. After disassembly, the body was dipped in an acid bath to remove old paint, scale, rust, seam sealer, and body filler. It was next off to the electro-plating facility where liquid flowed through every crevice to electrically plate all contact areas, corrosion protection now found on new cars but not seen at the time this car was built.
The body work is progressing well, and soon we shall see new paint. Once finished, decisions regarding performance options will be finalized. Were not sure, but we believe Mr. X may be considering a sharper set of teeth for Mr. Z.
